Description
The object is a sculpted metal bust of Abraham Lincoln's left-side profile that is enclosed in a circular wooden frame. The bust is mounted on a blue felt-like background and a small American flag appears at the right of the bust. Overall, the object is in fair condition, but has some noticeable damage. The bust has evidence of oxidation, the felt background has deteriorated at the flag site, and the frame's backing piece is broken and removed. The frame backing also features a sticker containing documentary information that is largely unintelligible. A separate envelope was found with the object that contained a slip of paper and four nails.
