Description
The print is an illustration from the book The Life Stories of Famous Americans. It depicts a scene from the Battle of Chancellorsville, fought from April 30 to May 6, 1863. It is known as General Robert E. Lee's greatest victory during the American Civil War. The image is printed in black ink on off-white paper. It appears to have been removed from a bound volume. The item's verso contains an excerpt from page 104 of the book.
