This version pub. by the Parks & History Assn., Washington, D.C.; "GENERAL ROBERT E. LEE leaving the McLean House/ after the Surrender, April 9, 1865." The image is made up with back line drawings against a beige background. General Robert E. Lee is depicted riding a horse. There is a second, unidentified solider, riding behind General Robert E. Lee. On the left side of the image, several soldiers are depicted as waving, saluting and watching General Robert E. Lee.
