Description

The black and white steel engraving depicts a scene from the Battle of Chantilly, where General Isaac Ingalls Stevens perished. A lifeless Stevens lies propped on the arm of another soldier. An American flag is held in his proper left hand. The engraving is printed on off-white paper.
