Description

This piece, by sculptor John McClarey, depicts the Lincoln family on their way to a picnic in 1858. Of not is the artist's depiction of the Lincolns with their dog, Fido, a yellow mixed-breed dog that stayed behind in Illinois when the Lincolns moved to Washington, D.C. The sculptured is made from bonded bronze and sits atop a walnut base.
