Description

Painted metal sculpture group on wood base. On brass label, affixed to base: ""Moody Fearful Night / Richard Masloski."" Sculpture depicts 4 uniformed soldiers and one civilian carrying wounded A. Lincoln. Sculpture is accompanied by large black pedestal.The title of the work, Moody, Tearful Night, is taken from Walt Whitman's poem about Lincoln's death, When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom'd.
