Description
1- President Clinton released his proposal to allow gays to serve in the military this week. What do you think of the plan?; 2- The House is considering the National Service Act, which provides benefits to Americans who volunteer to work in public service jobs across the country. Some concerns were raised about the effect of this program might have on the ability of our Armed Forces to recruit qualified personnel. What do you think of the program?; 3- You will soon consider the Defense Authorization Bill for FY 1994 in the Armed Services Committee. With the downsizing of our military still underway, how are Mississippi National Guard and reserve units going to be treated in this next year?
