1- The Secretary of the Interior announced this week that he was delaying for six months a decision about whether or not to include the Alabama Sturgeon on the endangered species list. You have had concerns about the future of the Tenn-Tom Waterway if the fish is listed because the law could restrict dredging and other commercial activities on the Waterway. What is your reaction to this news?; 2- The administration announced its Welfare Reform Plan this week. What do you think of the proposal? Is it time to reform the welfare system?; 3- You legislation to provide compensation for Persian Gulf veterans suffering from undiagnosed illnesses was before a Veterans Affairs Subcommittee last week. What kind of support did it receive?
