Description

Speaking with Chairman of the House Rules Committee, Representative Gerald Solomon of New York. 1- We worked together on two issues recent in the House and won big victories on both of them. First, the constitutional amendment to protect the American flag, e cosponsored this legislation. Did the margin of victory surprise you?; 2- What are the prospects for getting a two-thirds vote in the Senate and sending the amendment to the states for ratification?; 3- The most recent victory came on preserving funding for the Selective Service System. Why is it important to keep this agency operating?
