1- You supported the Defense Authorization bill which was finally approved by both houses and sent to the President. As this is being taped, he is considering a veto of the bill. You and other House Democrats wrote the President urging him to sign it. Why is it important?; 2- In addition to the pay raise and housing allowances, and other items for the entire military, the package contains a number of projects important to Mississippi. Isn?╟╓t that true?; 3- As this is being taped, it appears funding will be approved to allow veterans benefits checks to go out on time in December. What is the story on this?
