Description

1- A few weeks ago, Army Secretary Togo West said that a study of the military found very few cases of extremists. Do you think this is an accurate description of today?╟╓s military?; 2- A recent Editorial in the Washington Post suggested that one way to save defense funds would be to cut the National Guard. What do you have to say to this recommendation?; 3- Recently, President Clinton and Congress agreed on a bill that would give the line-item veto powers to the president next year. Do you support this legislation?; 4- Congress will soon be considering farm legislation. This 7 year farm bill will authorized $47 billion in farm-related spending through 2002 and change the current crop subsidies program with a system of fixed, declining payments regardless of market conditions. How will this affect Mississippi farmers?
