Speaking to Lt General John Conway, Head of the National Guard Bureau; 1- With the reduction in defense spending, the National Guard is going to talk on a greater role in the total force. What do you see in the future for our citizen soldiers?; 2- The National Guard has a dual mission. Besides serving the federal government as part of the total force, it also responds to civil disorder and natural disasters in the states. This has been a busy year in that area. Could you talk about how the guard has been involved?;
