1- President Bush has submitted the names of nominees to the 1993 Defense Base Closure Commission. You have been closely following the developments. How do you think Mississippi bases will fare in this process?; 2- Outgoing Agriculture Secretary Edward Madigan is proposing to close a number of Agriculture Department service offices across the country as part of a reorganizational plan. That would include a number of offices in Mississippi. What do you think about the idea?; 3- The confirmation process has begun for Jesse Brown to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs in the Clinton cabinet. You know Mr. Brown. Will he have any problems being confirmed?
