1- Last week the Defense Base Closure Commission voted to take NAS Meridian off the closure list. You worked hard to save the base. What was your reaction after the vote?; 2- You were on the front row at every commission hearing and you took every opportunity to talk to the seven commissioners and their staff about NAS Meridian. How important was that personal contact?; 3- Another Closure Commission will be convened in 1995. Have you already given thought to what NAS Meridian?╟╓s prospects might be two years from now?
