Abstract
From the Introduction:
"The hypothesis of this study was that the use of Lactobacillus species can inhibit the growth of harmful bacteria in the chicken gut and promote gut health. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of probiotics bacteria, Lactobacillus johnsonii and Lactobacillus salivarius, to protect chickens against Clostridium perfringens."
