Biography
Maria Feodorovna was a daughter of King Christian IX of Denmark. In 1866, she married Alexander III, the Crown Prince of Russia. She later became Queen Consort when her husband succeeded to the throne of Russia. In St. Petersburg Russia, Mrs. Grant met the future Czarina Maria Feodorovna and conveyed a message from her mother the Queen of Denmark.
