Transcription

The State of Mississippi, Lowndes County, charged William W. Humphries, laborer, with unlawfully quartering slaves in Columbus. Specifically, with suffering two of his enslaved persons, Agnes and Milly, with residing in a house which was not immediately connected with the lot upon which was the usual dwelling house of said Humphries on September 16, 1850.
