August 12th 1805 An Inventory of the property of the late John Brown Dec’d One Negroe Man, Blin (?) - $500 one Negroe Woman, Rachel & Two Children - $550 one Negroe Woman, Rose - $400 $120? Two Horses - $190 one Bed? & furniture - $30 one trunk - $3 Sundry Articles [2 illegible words] - $.21? 1624? Amount for furniture etc sold in the state of Georgia 168.31 ¼? Amount in Cash – 1732. 31 ¼ 30 1762.31 ¼ We the undersigned appraisers appointed by the Judges of the County Court at this July term 1805. do Value the above property at the prices annexed to the different articles Page 2 In testimony whereof we have hereunto subscribed our Names Joseph Sessions Joshua Howard John Calliham Adams County Personally approved before me the undersigned [marked out word] one of justices assigned to keep the place for Said County [marked out word] Wm. Bruce? one of the Adminstrators of the estate of John Brown Dec.d and maketh oath that the written is a Just & True Inventory of all the estate that has come to his knowledge.
