Description
Inventory of the estate of Joseph Barnard, deceased, including the following enslaved persons: Harry, Dick, Toby, John, Fergus, Philes and her child, Aminta, Clarinda, and Betsey. Also includes the enslaved persons purchased by William Cochran, husband of the widow of Joseph Barnard, as follows: Adam who has lost the use of one side and arm, Sam, Frank, Jack and Winney, all of whom are recorded as having been given to Cochran to settle the debts of the estate.
