Page 1 A true & perfect inventory of the goods chattles & personal estate of John Chotard La Place, late of the Mississippi Territory in the County of Adams deceased, made by us whose names are hereunto subscribed this 29th day of March 1811 To wit 1 Negro Man named Peter @ 350 3 Feather Beds 60 50 3 Matresses 18 7 head of cattle 44 8 do swine 24 68 1 grind stone $2.62 ½ 3 ploughs 20 4 axes 6. 8 Grubing hoes 4. 6 weeding do 3. 35 62 ½ 1 Ox Cart 60 3 for Oxen 180 2 + steel? saws 22 2 hand do 2. 2 yokes 6. 4 set Harness for traces 8. 1 set double Traces (?) 2. 2 Cleavers & two swinging trees 2. 2 cupling chain 3.75 23 75 Total $ 819 87 ½   Page 2 Mississippi Territory Adams County & Sarah F Chotard administration of all and singular the goods and chattles rights and credits which were of John Chotard La Place demand at the Time of his death being duly sworn saith that the written is a just and true inventory & appraisement of all and singular the goods & chattles rights and credits which were of the said John Chotard La Place deceand at the time of his death so far on the same have come to the hands possession or knowledge of the said administratrix and further saith not Sworn and subscribed this 8th day of May A.D. 1812 before me Andw Marschalk J.P Sarah F. Chotard
