Description

Assistant Editor, Louis Gallo, discusses the books he has assisted on during his time at the Ulysses S. Grant Presidential Library at Mississippi State University Libraries with host, Fred Smith. He, along with Dr. John Marszalek and David Nolan, completed the annotated addition to the Ulysses S. Grant Memoirs and a short biography of Grant titled, Hold on with a bulldog grip : a short study of Ulysses S. Grant. The newest project is the annotated edition of the General W. T. Sherman Memoirs. Gallo goes on to describe some historical anecdotes of the Sherman Memoirs, what their plans for the annotation edition, and the approach taken in creating the annotations.
