Description

This handwritten V-Mail (Victory Mail) letter, dated February 11, 1944, is written by Rollin S. Armstrong from where he is stationed in North Africa, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter discusses the mail he has received, directs her where she should be sending mail, and updates her on the progress of his leg wound. The War and Navy Departments V-Mail Service envelope is postmarked U. S. Postal Service, No. 1, February 9, 1944.
