Description

This handwritten letter, dated February 17, 1944, is written by Rollin S. Armstrong from where he is stationed in North Africa, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter updates her on the letters he's received and informs her of what has happened to his wardrobe. The letter goes on to describe how his wound is healing, encourages her to visit his parents on the coast, and relays a compliment a friend of theirs gave her. The envelope is postmarked U. S. Army Postal Service, A. P. O., February 17, 1944.
