Description

This handwritten letter, dated July 17, 1943, is written by Rollin S. Armstrong at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma where he is stationed, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter describes a recent airplane ride he took with the 933rd FAB. The letter goes on to instruct her on the repairs needed to the watch he is sending her and how to handle other personal affairs. The letter goes on to describe his social interactions and shares news of their friends in Oklahoma. The envelope is postmarked Camp Gruber, July 17, 1943.
