Description

This handwritten letter, dated November 28, 1943, is written by Rollin S. Armstrong from where he is stationed in Italy, to his wife, Rebecca Armstrong, in Tupelo, Mississippi. The letter discusses the package he received from her and his wishful thinking on the upcoming Christmas. The envelope is postmarked U. S. Army 2nd Base P. O., December 1, 1943. An ink stamp identifying the examination of the letter is in the lower left of the envelope.
