Description

This handwritten ledger page, documents the weights of 12 bales of cotton that were marked for J. P. Darden on July 27, 1865. The weights are recorded in two columns, one noted as "P. V. J. Weighted" at 4913 pounds and one marked as weighted by "yourself" at 5439 pounds making a difference of 526 pounds.
