Description

This handwritten account statement lists food and other household items purchased by Thomas L. Darden from March to October 1868 at a total cost of $264.36. The items were purchased from Flemming and Baldwin and marked paid on October 28, 1868. An orange, two cent, George Washington postage stamp is placed crookedly on the left of the first page and "F&B" is written over Washington's face. Some other calculations are written in pencil on the lower right of the first page and sideways on the top of the second page.
