Description
This handwritten account statement lists household items purchased by Mrs. John. P. Darden from September to December 1866 for a total cost of twenty-four dollars and eighty cents. The payment was received from M. Eiseman. An orange, two cent, George Washington postage stamp is placed next to the payment note at the bottom of the list. The date, January 12, 1867 and the initials "M. E." is written across the stamp.
