Description
This handwritten letter, dated January 22, 1861, is written from A. L. Sholinh to John P. Darden assuring Darden that he has no ill feelings towards him whatsoever. He goes on to assure Darden that he intends to do what is right. He states that he sold Darden the land in good faith and believes that Darden is trying to back out of the deal.
