    Description

    In this letter, dated April 9, 1859, J.J. Person writes to Isaac R. Wade to inform him of the items sent to him at his request and explain any delays for items. He goes on to inform Wade of the cotton market and the effect Gulf flooding has on it. An envelope addressed to Wade and sent to Prospect Hill is included.
