    Description

    In this letter, dated January 28, 1862, J. J. Person and Co. writes to Isaac R. Wade to inform him that an invoice is enclosed and that his items were shipped that day. They go on to advise on storing cotton after it has been baled. The enclosed invoice documents the items purchased by Wade and shipped by the Peytona at a cost of one hundred fifty-eight dollars and thirty-one cents.
