Description
In this copy of a memo, the Council of the Society informs of the terms of an estate settlement involving J. R. Wade and outlines the terms of repayment of debt including the disbursement of enslaved persons, a monetary sum, and the possession of Prospect Hill Plantation and it's use by the Council of the Society. The memo, dated January 19, 1847, has sustained damage on the outer edges of the paper.
