This set of documents include a Public Instrument of Protest filed and notarized stating that payments had not been made on a note being held at The Mechanics and Traders Bank of New Orleans along with two promissory notes stating that Isaac R. Wade would pay sums to James Brown by March 1, 1847. The second note is marked as paid on January 10, 1849.
