Description

In this letter, dated March 11, 1847, George S. Yerger writes to Isaac R. Wade to advise him that the Colonization Society is insisting on being in control of "the property" but otherwise agrees to the terms proposed in prior communication. Yerger advises Wade to agree and "be done with it" to "prevent further trouble".
