Description
In this bill of court costs, sent to J. Hewitt on January 19, 1850, the Chancery Office advises on the costs associated with a court case between the American Colonization Society versus Isaac R. Wade and requests payment for the $168.31 bill before papers will be sent. Acknowledgement of the payment received on February 21, 1850 is written on the back of the bill.
