Description
In this undated draft of a will, presumably Isaac R. Wade states that he wishes to keep his plantation going as long as the debts are paid and the interested parties are agreeable but outlines how the proceeds should be divided should it be sold. He goes on to state his desire that his son, B. H. Wade, receive a larger portion of the estate as compensation for the care nursing provided by him to Isaac R. Wade during his prolonged illness. An envelope addressed to Judge Isaac R. Wade in Claiborn County, Mississippi and postmarked Frogmore, Louisiana is included with the draft.
