Description

This postcard features a black and white image of the State Fair Winner at the Sate Fair in Jackson, Mississippi in November 1907. Men in suits and hats are gathered in front of two large pieces of machinery that are loaded onto wagons. A banner on the ground in front of the machine on the left reads "Gaars Cotton Engineers. A Banner hung behind the machine is mostly blocked by the machine with only the words "And Co. Machinery" visible where it shows on the right end of the machine. Trees, buildings, and utility poles are seen behind the machines. "The Prize Winner State Fair Jackson, Miss. Nov 5-16-07" is printed in white along the bottom of the card.
