Description
This postcard features a black and white image of the school buildings at the Piney Woods School campus. The top image, according to the card "On the left side the new fireproof dormitory for girls. On the right the boys dormitory. Between the two buildings is the ruins of the dining room and domestic science building lost in fire." The bottom image, according to the card, "Community house where our visitors are entertained. Academic building "Goodwill Hall". Both images contain images of two story buildings set among sidewalks and trees. The back of the card contains the following paragraph on the bottom left, "how to help Piney Woods School; Money in any amount--even one dollar is helpful--for current express. Used clothing and shoes for our young men and women who are working their way. An academic scholarship of $100.00 or an industrial scholarship of $50.00, or $8.00 a month will give a boy or girl the opportunity of entering school here.
