Description

This black and white postcard features a three story building with a cupola in the center of the roof an short dormers along the roofline. A white railed porch and second floor balcony are in the front center of the building. The title in the upper right corner identifies the building as "Belhaven College, Jackson, Miss." An inscription is handwritten along the top and down the right side of the card. The publisher is listed in the lower right corner. The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard-Carte Postale-Postal Card and provides indication for address placement. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner and the card is postmarked West Jackson, Jackson, Mississippi, July 13, 1904. The card is addressed to Mrs. M. C. White in Independence, Missouri.
