Description
This postcard features a color illustration of a butterfly with images of the New Capitol, the Old Capitol, Governors Mansion, and Confederate Monument depicted within the wings. A woman in a white dress is depicted as the "body" of the butterfly. The title of the card is split above and below the butterfly. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Fritz Carlson in Chicago, Illinois. The card is postmarked Jackson, Mississippi, October 25, 1906 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
