Description

This postcard features a color illustration of the Copiah County Courthouse and jail in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, a two story building with two story pillar columns across the front entrance, a domed clock tower with a cupola on top, and a gabled roof. A water tower is seen to the right of the building and other buildings are depicted behind and to the left of the courthouse. The title of the card is printed in red below the bottom left edge of the image. An inscription is written on the edges of the card. The back of the card is addressed to Mr. W. E. Cook in Brookhaven, Mississippi. The card is postmarked Hazlehurst, Mississippi, June 23, 1907 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner.
