Description
This postcard features a color illustration of the psychiatric hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, a large, three story building with a cupola or a dome in the center and four, two story white columns across the front entrance. Trees are on the hospital lawn, some of them lining a pathway to the entrance. The title of the card is printed in the upper center of the image. The back of the card is addressed to Mrs. Hattie Kitchens, Oxford, New York and is postmarked Merid and New Orleans R. P. O., February 24, 1913. Two green, one cent George Washington postage stamps in the top right corner. "To Mama From Leland" is written on the left side of the card.
