Description
A photograph of people gathered in front of a building at Allison's Wells in Way, Mississippi (Madison County) is featured on this postcard. The building is a white, two story, clapboard building with a long front porch and second story balcony, both lined with white columns and railings. Ivy is growing up the rails and columns. A group of people in early 20th century clothing are standing on the porch and seated on the lawn in front of the building. The title of the card is written in white along the bottom of the image. Evidence of a smudged postmark is on the back of the card near the green, one cent, Benjamin Franklin postage stamp. A note is written to Mrs. Rogers from Mrs. Latimer on the left half of the back.
