Description
This picture postcard features the Mississippi Governor's Mansion in Jackson, Mississippi. The mansion is decorated with a large United States flag draped across the rotunda porch. The mansion, itself, is a two story white building with a rounded or rotunda style front entrance with white columns. A black iron fence on top of a brick retaining wall runs in front of the mansion and trees are to the front and sides of the mansion and fence. A description is handwritten along the top of the card that describes the scene as "Decorated for Bryan Day" and M. A. S. is handwritten on the molding along the roof of the porch rotunda. Publisher information is in ink near the bottom left of the image.
