Description

This color postcard features a five story brick building with white brick arches on the bottom floor. The arches are engraved with the name of the building, "Capital National Bank." Other buildings are connected to the bank. A streetcar is parked in front and people in early twentieth century clothing are gathered around the street car. Other cards and people are on the street beyond the street car. utility poles and a fenced in area are across the street from the bank. The title along the bottom right reads "Capital National Bank, Jackson, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information. A green one cent postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner. The postmark ink is smeared making it illegible. The card is inscribed and is addressed to Miss Lorena Duling in Nashville, Tennessee.

Hope your received the last of your postals. Toot's getting along nicely. Doctors say that if anything this side she was operated on will be stronger than the other side. It has rained every day since Sunday but my it is hot. Elizabeth [sic]
