Description
This postcard features a black and white image of Wesson High School building. The building is primarily a two story structure with three story towers on each of the front corners. Chimneys line the end of the roof and two trees are seen in the front. The title is printed along the bottom edge of the image and a London, Ontario postmarked dated Dec. 4, 1906 is upside down above the title. An inscription is handwritten along the left, top, and right edges of the card. The inscription reads, "Rec'd card. Thanks. This is our school Bldg. will send another card in a weeks time. Harry Williams 12/1/'06 Wesson Miss." [sic] The back of the card is addressed to Lillian M. Evans in London, Ontario Canada. The card is postmarked Wesson, Miss. Dec. 1906 and a green, one cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed in the upper right corner of the card.
