Description

This postcard features a black and white image of a street scene with trees and houses on either side of the street. The title of the card is printed along the bottom edge of the image and a handwritten inscription is written below the title. The inscription reads "Regards to all and be a good little girl. R. H. P." The back of the card is addressed to Miss Bertha Jones in Rutherford, Tennessee with the town of Trenton marked through. The card bears three postmarks: Canton, Miss. November 18, 1906, Trenton, Tennessee, Nov. 20, 1906, and Rutherford, Tenn., Nov. 22, 1906. A green, once cent Benjamin Franklin postage stamp is placed crookedly in the upper right corner and is partially obscured by the postmark ink.
