Description
This postcard features a black and white image of a small church with arched windows and a tall steeple in the front center. Trees and electric power line poles are seen in front of and behind the church and a white picket fence is seen to the right. The title of the card is handwritten in the white area beneath the image. The back of the card is addressed to Miss H. W. Lameau in Charleston, South Carolina but is not postmarked. An inscription is written along the top edge of the card and on the left side. [See transcription field.]
Transcription
[on the left side of the card] July 12th, 1907, Dear "Aunti" I intended to write to you this week but have not succeeded in carrying out my intentions. So I sent the "Little Gray Church" which I meant to enclose in my letter and I will try to write next week. We are about as well as usual and hope that you all are well. Lovingly your niece Sallie [across the top] The trees at the back and side of the church are in our yard.
