This color picture postcard features the belfry tower wing of the Inn-By-The-Sea as seen from across Lotus Pond. Palm trees, bushes, and ornamental grasses adorn the area around the pond. The title along the bottom of the card reads "Belfry Tower Across From Across Lotus Pond--Inn-By-The-Sea, Pass Christian, Miss." The back of the postcard identifies the item as a postcard and provides publisher information as well as indication for postage stamp and address placement. The description in the upper left corner reads "Inn-By-The-Sea--A delightful inn and cottages among the pines and moss-hung live oaks, beside the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, open every day of the year."; 3.00 is written in pencil beneath the description.
