Mississippi Coast Region

The Mississippi Coast Region consists of Bay St. Louis, Biloxi, Diamondhead, Gautier, Gulfport, Long Beach, Moss Point, Ocean Springs, Pascagoula, Pass Christian, Waveland, Wiggans, Cat Island, and Ship Island.

    This black and white postcard features a large multilevel building with a tall smoke stack in the center that is emitting smoke. The building has several pine trees around and in front of it. A horse and wagon is standing in front of the corner end of the building and the wagon is emblazoned with the words: "Pascagoula St. RY and Power Co." then"ICE No. 1." A man appears to be loading something in the wagon. An Note the umbrella over the wagon-driver. Another horse and wagon with two men are parked in front of the entrance to the building. The building has on it "Pascagoula Street Railway and Power Company." The title along the bottom reads "Electric Light and Power Plant, Pascagoula." The publisher information is located in the lower left corner of the image and an inscription is handwritten in the white space beneath the title. A white sign extends from the side of the building. A man in an apron is standing on the side of the street in front of the buildings. Tress and a powerline pole are behind the second building.
